So for all of those people who said to me, "oh it must be so nice to have two sweet little girls...my boy is all boy.... girls are so sweet.." blaa, blaa, blaa. So this was my afternoon. Callie's monster cat moose ate a ground squirrel, my friend comes in to tell me he is eating it under the camper. Callie comes in from the garage and says, "Moose just threw up that animal he was eating on the hood of your car!" Joy. I go out to scoop it off and Callie notices several of its organs are still intact. "Wait Mom can we dissect it?" Sure why not, dissecting cat vomit is something all 8 year old girls want to do after school, right? To top it off we needed to call our other "tomboy " friend Maddie Wheeler over. These two dissected, identified, referenced the Internet and otherwise tore apart the vomit for over an hour. The smell was unbelievable!!! Sugar and spice and everything nice right?!!!
